Can I stay with my pet during treatment or overnight at Nexus?

Yes! Our hospital is designed so you can be with your pet throughout their care. You are welcome to remain by your pet’s side during examinations and any non-operative treatments to comfort them. If your pet needs to stay in the hospital overnight, you can stay overnight too. We even provide a family lounge where you can rest, take a break, or grab something to eat while staying close to your pet.

What if I’m not sure my pet needs emergency care?

Who will be caring for my pet at Nexus?

Your pet will be cared for by our experienced emergency veterinarians, with a veterinarian on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. During their stay, your pet will also have a dedicated nurse who is responsible for their care throughout that shift, allowing the same people to get to know both you and your pet. While our team changes over between shifts, every handover is thorough to ensure continuity of care. Our emergency veterinarians, nurses and support staff work closely together to provide compassionate, transparent care at every stage of your pet’s treatment.
