Some symptoms have an obvious cause, but some require deeper investigation. We have advanced testing options for when a diagnosis isn’t clear or requires further clarification. We want to ensure every pet gets the right treatment, right away.
With on-site blood tests, imaging and lab work, we can assess internal problems, detect infections and rule out serious conditions without unnecessary delays.
We don’t have to rely on educated guesses or treat pets blindly. Our facility is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools to complete thorough investigations on-site and deliver answers in a timely manner.
You need the right tools for a correct diagnosis. Nexus is a modern facility, equipped with in-house lab testing and advanced diagnostic technology to assess what’s happening beneath the surface.
Our equipment includes systems like the Imagyst, which allows samples to be analysed on-site rather than sent to an external lab, as well as mobile digital imaging through low-scatter technology such as the Rover Plus. This allows imaging to be performed at your pet’s side, without the need for unnecessary movement or transfers.
We can also carry out a wide range of diagnostic procedures on-site, including ultrasound, endoscopy and advanced blood testing. Having that level of detail sooner means more accurate decisions and care that’s tailored to your pet.
Some test results require further expertise. If we identify something complex or unusual, we have access to specialist input to ensure nothing is overlooked. This helps us maintain the highest standard of care without unnecessary delays.
We also ensure continuity by compiling detailed records of diagnostic findings. Whether your pet returns to their regular vet or needs specialist treatment, their full history is available—preventing repeated tests and superfluous costs.
Our goal is simple: accurate diagnostics that lead to clear answers and the right treatment without added stress for the patient or their family.
Dr Gosliga, THANK YOU for your tender care. My 14 year old rescue, Maya, had suddenly become very ill and the diagnosis was sepsis leading to organ failure. You discussed the treatment options in a compassionate way. We agreed on supportive care to improve her comfort, and then taking her to familiar surroundings for euthanasia at home. We miss Maya so much, but the quality of her last hours were in no small part due to your quick willingness to lend what helpful support you could.
