Mary - AMusA, DipT

With a distinguished thirty-year career in music education, piano performance and primary teaching, Mary eventually made the decision to follow her lifelong passion for animals and transition into veterinary care.

What began in administration at a regional clinic soon evolved into a hands-on role greeting clients, supporting the team and becoming an integral part of daily clinic life.

Eleven years later, she’s still as hooked as ever, combining her love of animals with her deep commitment to helping people through difficult moments.

Empathy, understanding & connection

Mary brings warmth, empathy and strong communication to every interaction to support clients and help them feel understood. She is approachable, thoughtful and known for her friendly smile.

She has contributed to the profession as Founding Council Secretary for the Australian Veterinary Receptionists Association (AVRA), advocating for recognition of receptionists within the veterinary industry. Outside of work, Mary enjoys walking her dog Baylee, spending time with her grand-daughters, crafting and making music with her local concert band.
